Polar Ice is super white, super plastic porcelain. It is the whitest clay we offer, and is translucent when thinly thrown // trimmed. When new, it is quite soft and recommend letting it dry out or stiffen up before use as the gums to keep the body together are quick sticky.

Fires rusty red-brown with a faint creamy fleck at cone 6. Fires deeper & greyer at 8. Versatile body with a soft tooth. High iron content will cause empty pots to warm noticeably after microwaving.

Replacement for M340S, and looks pretty much identical. Softer, & way nicer to use. Not sure about thermo-regulating properties (ie oven use etc.) Proceed with caution.

Taupe speckled (maybe?) cone 6 stoneware. For intermediate level throwers, a blend of all our clay bodies for a beautiful medium brown colour (hopefully.) Should look beautiful with John's Blue or Seafoam Chun.
