Taupe speckled (maybe?) cone 6 stoneware. For intermediate level throwers, a blend of all our clay bodies for a beautiful medium brown colour (hopefully.) Should look beautiful with John's Blue or Seafoam Chun.

Please be advised that we are no longer separating the white / brown recycled clays, and moving towards one body. It will be a surprise! This is recycled clay, and there may be foreign objects in the clay. We do our best to check the clay, but sometimes objects sneak through. By purchasing this clay you agree to wave Community Clay Inc. of any liability of injury or death.

Porcelain bud vase made by hand in Vancouver, BC steps from the Pacific Ocean. Handcrafted from start to finish: thrown on the pottery wheel, trimmed and fired in an electric kiln. The vase is then thoughtfully hand-painted with an 18 karat gold emulsion, and fired for a third time. As it is handmade there may be slight differences in the shape, size and graphics on each vase.

If you don't have your own tools, a basic set will be provided for the workshop.

If you're a member of our studio you can use your own bag of clay from the studio. If you're not a member of the studio, you are welcome to bring your own clay, or click here to use our recycled clay (items will not be kept.) It is recommended to use this as a development workshop, and to cut items in half. No firing is included in the workshop.

When I'm cooking, it drives me nuts to have my veggies all over the cutting board. I made these bowls to separate items to make it more convenient and simple for culinary endeavours.

Or use it as a salt bowl. Or the change dish by your door. Or a jewellery bowl in your bathroom. This bowl's your oyster (shell.) ...get it? ;)

This item is made with recycled clay, and customized with a speckle added! The amount of speckles vary per batch. The Quartz, Rose Quartz, and Granite are a rich & creamy satin matte, and the Jade is brilliantly glossy. As always, I recommend hand washing and drying, however -upon your own discretion- these items may be placed in the dishwasher with care.
